OUR BEGINNINGS WERE HUMBLE
It all began with Josh making Emily one of his lofty promises- building an entertainment stand as an anniversary gift. She held him to this promise, and it began to develop into something more. They found, that between the two of them, they had an eye for reclaiming, reviving and restoring lost and forgotten materials.
Emily grew up on Hillside Farms- a family owned dairy farm, and Josh grew up learning how to restore barns and build from his dad. The two added their experience and style together, and Hillside Design Company was born. They now focus on how this company can impact the lives and stories of those around them. They donate a portion of their proceeds to help fund and furnish the homes of those who cannot afford quality hand crafted furniture.
